Last year, with your generous help, over 5,000 refugee families in Malaysia received food aid. Seeing the relief on their faces and wide smiles of their children is incomparable. For that they and we thank you.

With Ramadhan fast approaching, they wait in anticipation again this year. Covid-19 continues to disrupt livelihood and refugees in Malaysia are among the most vulnerable as they are mostly daily wage earners. They are struggling with one of man’s most basic needs – food.

Carefugees is working frantically to help as best as we can. We have been providing food aid to refugee families since 2013 and have so far successfully delivered food aid to over 33,000 families in Malaysia.

Every little bit helps, and no amount is too small. Your contribution will give each family much needed supplies like rice, cooking oil, milk powder, sugar, pasta, potatoes, lentils, eggs and more.

A refugee is a survivor. With some help, they can rebuild their shattered lives and hope for a better future. Let us together, bring some smiles into their homes and food on their tables, InshaAllah.

Fleeing civil strife, wars and persecution, they come from Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. UNHCR estimates there are over 178,710 registered refugees in Malaysia.
